Sadly, A New Earth is worse than The Power of Now. It’s mostly the same content, just repackage. I guess there’s a little bit more information on the pain-body, but that’s about all it has to offer. Basically, “your life’s purpose” is to awaken and just be in the Now. Everything else is secondary. That’s fine and well, and is probably true, but Tolle’s earlier book says the same thing. To make matters worse, A New Earth is significantly more boring than his earlier book.
