On Medieval Philosophy

Adamson, Peter. Medieval Philosophy: A History of Philosophy Without Any Gaps, Volume 4. Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2019. pp. 688. Cloth.

I initially wanted to give this three stars. It took me so long to finish, in large part because Adamson gets so bogged down in details. On second thought, that would be unjust, given that the purpose is to write a history of philosophy without any gaps, and on this Adamson performs admirably. Looking forward to reading his next volume on Classical Indian Philosophy, then whatever comes next.
