Al-Azmeh has some really good insights about the uses [and misuses] about Ibn Khaldun’s thought in modern academia, especially in history, anthropology, and sociology. However, this actually attempts to explain the structure of Ibn Khaldun’s work is severely lacking and I still don’t know what he means by any of it.
