On Jews, God, and History
Dimont, Max I. Jews, God, and History. New York: Signet Classics, 2004. pp. 592. Paperback.
Definitely one of the weirdest history books I’ve ever read. Dimont essentially comes at the topic from the angle of Jewish exceptionalism, which I can understand—even if I don’t share his view, but the book is riddled with statements and sentences that are factually and/or analytically false. Better to read something else.
