On the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin
Franklin, Benjamin. The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. New York: Simon & Schuster, 2004. pp. 143. Paperback.
I guess it’s important to making sense of the life of Uncle Ben, and there is some good advice on how to cultivate good habits, but it isn’t much in the way of a work of literature. It meanders and it seems that the big Franklin was just writing what came to mind in that instant. Given his stature, this is forgivable, but if it were anyone else, this would be a big no.
