On Divide and Conquer or Divide and Subdivide?

Short piece that doesn’t offer much that’s new. Essentially, Leier argues that Marx and Bakunin had similar roles and the split at the First International was rooted in small, minor differences that should have been ignored. Rather than dealing with the two authors’ thought and how they can be reconciled, most of this work is a brief biography of the two men. It may be of interest to those new to the Marxist-Anarchist debate at the First International, but reading anything before this will make this pamphlet essentially useless.
