On the People from Nowhere

Magocsi, Paul Robert. The People from Nowhere: An Illustrated History Of Carpatho Rusyns. V. Padiak Publishers, 2006. pp. 120. Cloth.

This short work has a large purpose: to introduce readers to the history of the Carpatho-Rusyn people. Although there is not a ton of detail, and each chapter is only 10-15 pages (in rather large print with colorful images), I felt I was able to get a reasonable sense for how they fit into the history of Eastern Europe. Magocsi has written extensively about Carpatho-Rusyns elsewhere, so I’ll have to take a look at his other work.
