On Astrology

I dabble in astrology now and then — everything I’d picked up, I’d picked up online — and since I wanted to get further into esotericism and mysticism, I reached for this. It’s a handy guide, well written for newcomers and a decent primer for anyone who’s already been playing with it. It runs through an introduction, then the Zodiac signs, the planets, and the houses; it pulls them together in the natal chart, works a few case studies, takes a short detour through transits, and closes with a long section on general applications to life. I’d like to learn a good deal more, but that can wait.
