On To the Lighthouse
Woolf, Virginia and Eudora Welty. To the Lighthouse. San Diego: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1989. pp. 209. Paperback.
I understand the literary merit of this book, but it’s not for me. This book is clearly about emotional and psychological tensions between individuals and how they really play out. Yet, reading this felt like putting sand through a sieve. I don’t remember of what happened at the beginning, and I doubt I’ll remember any of the end later. Maybe I’ll try again some other time.
