Spent a lot more time with this one than I normally do with scholarly monographs. Endlessly fascinating and suddenly relevant again. I disagree with the other reviewer here that said Wright leans conservative or towards the right. As far as I can tell, he’s your traditional liberal democrat that takes the so-called “Patriot” movement seriously, forcing him to take the word of adherents at face value.
