Hypernormality is a short EP, and not all of the sounds here are what we would call classically musical–there’s something experimental to the sound, especially in the last song, “Secret Garden.” My personal favorite tune is “St. Henri,” which has a quiet, reflective, and almost mystical sound to it. It brings me to a baseline level of calm, and it’s a great song to listen to while thinking or reflecting.
